    Engineered hardwood offers far more versatile installation options. It can be nailed, glued down, or installed as a floating floor where boards click together over a padded underlayment. While premium engineered boards can match solid wood prices, the installation labor and subfloor preparation for engineered options are often faster, which helps keep project budgets manageable.
